Outskirts of Atlis
You join up with Ginger and Jacob who are arguing outside the city limits. Jacob notices that you arrive.
"See? She showed up. That must mean she cares to a certain point." Jacob says.
"Fine, I'll give that to her. Happy?" Ginger sneers, turning around and swimming off.
"Thanks for showing up." Jacob pats you on the back.
"It's no problem." You smile, "I figured I might as well. I wouldn't want any harm coming to either of you if something bad happens. Even if Ginger hates me- I still care about her."
Jacob sighs, "You're so kind Ma. Ginger...She keeps listening to all those rumors going around about you. I hate how they're all...so ugly. Nothing about them defines who you are."
"I feel the same way, but we better get going. I don't want Ginger hating you and me the entire time." You shrug your shoulders.
The two of you leave.
